George Goodnow is an artist based on Gadigal and Wangal Land (Sydney, Australia) who works across painting, public art projects and site-specific installations. Across their practice, their work focuses on relationships between people and built environments to explore themes of gender, perception and memory. They are interested in the ways in which architecture and infrastructure reflect, orientate and hold bodies, and how objects hold memories - tracing lines between the tangible and the intangible.

Goodnow has exhibited nationally and internationally, including at Ki Smith Gallery (New York), PADA (Portugal), Science Gallery (Melbourne), Tiles Lewisham (Sydney), Wollongong Art Gallery (Wollongong), Platform Arts (Geelong) and the University of Newcastle Gallery (Newcastle). They have been commissioned to create public artworks for Collingwood Yards, MPavilion Parkville and many local councils.
